Paddington may as well have come from deepest Peru for all we know. He clearly seemed out of place when he arrived at the shelter. But just like the bear he is named after, all he needs is a family to find him and take him home. 

Paddington was very aloof and nervous for the first few weeks after he arrived; often giving us a very hard stare much like Paddington Bear was known for. Our volunteers saw the scared cat behind that stare and gave him love and patience in return. We discovered that the way to Paddington’s heart was through grooming - he absolutely loves being brushed! 

He has made progress but still gets nervous, so he will need a patient adopter.
