Join us at Bancroft Memorial Library on Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. for a special program cohosted by the Friends of the Hopedale Library and the Taft Library in Mendon. Lynne McKenney Lydick and Thomas Lydick bring the story of Abby Kelley and Stephen Foster to life through their personal letters, offering a glimpse into the lives of two people who fought tirelessly against slavery and for women’s rights. The program will highlight their connection to Hopedale, Mendon, and the Blackstone Valley.
