Neighbor disputes, unattended death, structure fire, assault 

Between June 16 and July 16, the Hopedale Police and Fire Departments responded to hundreds of calls, many related to motor vehicle stops, vehicle accidents/crashes, traffic complaints, erratic operators, preventative patrolling, community policing, illegal parking, theft/larceny/forgery/fraud, burglar alarms, lost/found property, property checks, animal complaints, road hazards, soliciting,  LTC/FIC (license to carry/firearms identification card) matters, warrant/summons service, suspicious persons/activity, court appearances, 911 hang-ups/open lines, safety detail officers, school resource officer, general information, records requests, and public assistance. 

Hopedale also provided assistance to Mendon and Milford; and detail officers to Bellingham, Blackstone, E. Douglas, Foxboro, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millville, Upton, and Boston/Gillette Stadium.

July 10 at 7:55 p.m., motor vehicle stop, arrest. A 53-year-old Milford male was arrested and charged with OUI-liquor OR .08%, possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, warrant from another jurisdiction. 

July 13 at 11:49 p.m., Plain St., suspicious activity/person/vehicle

July 16 at 2:14 p.m., HPD, court regarding arrest of 47-year-old Lynn male charging with OUI-liquor OR .08%, erratic operation of motor vehicle.
