Hopedale water ban in effect
In March, the Town posted this water ban notice on its website.
“Due to a Level 3 (Critical Drought) declared by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, the Town of Hopedale is mandated by the state to implement a mandatory ban under our DEP Water Management Act Permit.
“All nonessential outdoor water use is prohibited [including] lawn and landscape watering; sprinklers and irrigation systems; washing vehicles (except commercial car washes); filling swimming pools; and washing driveways, sidewalks, or exterior surfaces.”
