Between March 16 and April 15, the Hopedale Police and Fire Departments responded to hundreds of calls, many related to motor vehicle stops, vehicle accidents/crashes, traffic complaints, erratic operators, preventative patrolling, community policing, illegal parking, theft/larceny/forgery/fraud, burglar alarms, lost/found property, property checks, animal complaints, road hazards, several LTC/FIC (license to carry/firearms identification card) applications, suspicious persons/activity, court appearances, 911 hang-ups/open lines, safety detail officers, school resource officer, general information, tech equipment updates, and training.

March 19 at 11:11 a.m., Mellen St., property release
March 20 at 9:36 a.m., Depot St., suspicious activity/person/vehicle

March 23 at 1:22 p.m., So. Main St., breaking and entering
March 25 at 1:31 a.m., Menfi Way, suspicious activity/person/vehicle
March 26 at 11:59 p.m., Mendon St., public assist
March 27 at 11:59 p.m., Bancroft Park, disturbance
March 28 at 9:12 a.m., Freedom St., arrest. A Woonsocket 54-year-old man was arrested and charged with speeding rate exceeding posted limit, failure to stop/yield, OUI-liquor OR .08%
March 30 at 4 p.m., Greene St., animal complaint
