School vacation week in April is all about music at the Bancroft Memorial Library. Ms. Laura has planned fun, high-energy programs to keep kids moving, creating, and entertained.
On Tues., April 21, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., join a Dance Party featuring disco lights, glow bracelets, bubbles, temporary tattoos, and more. Each participant will even receive an instrument to take home.
On Wed., April 22, from 1 to 3 p.m., enjoy a Family Movie Matinee. This mystery film asks: the guys are at it again….but what happens when the girls get involved? Who will end up being the good guys in the end? To find out the movie title, you can call the Library at 508-634-2209. Families are invited to drop in and get cozy; pajamas, blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, snacks, and friends are all welcome.
On Thurs., April 23, from 12 to 1 p.m., the Library will host a Teddy Bear Picnic in the Program Room, featuring live music by Cindy Tuminelli. The event will include singing, face painting, and a craft to make teddy bear bead bracelets.
Registration is required for the Teddy Bear Picnic and is limited to 40 attendees, including both children and adults. A waitlist will be available once the event is full. If you register and are later unable to attend, please notify the Library so your spot can be offered to another family.
