Hopedale Junior-Senior High School (HJSHS) Principal Derek Atherton and the HJSHS faculty are officially inviting the community to the Second Annual Snowcase Curriculum Fair and Art Show. Scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 5, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., this open-house event is designed to give current families and parents of future students an inside look at the school’s evolving academic landscape.

Held in the Media Center, the Snowcase serves as a bridge between the classroom and the community, highlighting the school’s commitment to "authentic learning"—projects where students apply their knowledge and the school Portrait of a Graduate skills to the real world.

The fair will feature a dive into Hopedale’s most recent academic initiatives. Visitors will have the chance to see student projects from Project Lead The Way (PLTW), DECA, and the school’s Innovation Career Pathways, which focus on high-demand fields such as Business, Biomedical Science, and Manufacturing (MET).

One of the night’s anticipated highlights is the Anatomage Virtual Dissection Table display, a state-of-the-art tool that allows students to explore human anatomy through high-resolution 3D visualization.

For parents looking toward the 2026-2027 school year, the Snowcase offers a vital opportunity to meet with Academic Department Heads and School Counselors. Staff will be available to answer questions regarding:

• The Program of Course Studies: Understanding course offerings and requirements.

• Student Scheduling: Navigating the transition between grade levels and graduation requirements

• Core Initiatives: Learning about the MY Career and Academic Plan (MYCAP), Hopedale’s Portrait of the Graduate, and Relevant and Engaging Authentic Learning (REAL) opportunities.

Beyond the academic displays, the evening aims to celebrate the Blue Raider spirit. All attendees will be automatically entered into a raffle for a chance to win gift cards from the Hopedale Athletic Department and the Blue Raiders School Store.

This is an opportunity to see our students' authentic learning in action. Whether you are a parent of a 7th grader just starting their journey or a senior preparing for their capstone or internship experience, the Snowcase provides a comprehensive look at the excellence Hopedale Jr Sr High School has to offer.
