Meet Jenna Gouin, Hopedale’s Community Health Worker
Jan 11, 2026 09:31AM ● By Chuck TashjianMeet our Community Health Worker, Jenna Gouin.
Jenna has been serving in this role since March 2024 so chances are you might have seen her around Hopedale. She has over 10 years of experience in social services and has several ties to surrounding communities. She is available to any resident or family in the community who needs assistance with accessing public benefits, various community resources, or who just has a tricky situation they need some help figuring out.
Jenna also holds monthly office hours at the Library, offering free 30-minute sessions at a time.
This position is funded through a shared-services grant that supports the Blackstone Valley Partnership for Public Health (BVPPH) in collaboration with the local Hopedale Board of Health.
In Hopedale, you will often find Jenna working with the Fire Department. She has developed a strong working relationship with the staff, as these staff members are often the first ones to identify individuals in need of additional assistance outside of emergency medical services. When a situation is encountered where Jenna's expertise may benefit the resident, the Fire Department shares Jenna's contact information so they can reach out directly to talk more in detail about their situation.
“I like to think of this role as being as unique as the needs of the residents in our communities. If I don’t have the answer for someone, I have plenty of connections and will certainly find the answer,” says Gouin.
To schedule a free 30-minute appointment with Jenna sign up through the Library’s Calendar of Events on the website, or call the Library at (508) 634-2209.
