This summer, the media center at Memorial Elementary School was transformed into the Center for Innovation, Research, and Creativity (CIRC), an exciting new space designed to spark curiosity and support hands-on learning. The CIRC will provide all students with access to STEM-focused activities, creative problem-solving opportunities, and innovative resources that encourage exploration and discovery. In addition to new furniture which was donated to the district, staff members wrote grants to secure new and exciting equipment such as a 3-D printer and a wide format printer.  This transformation reflects Memorial’s commitment to developing critical skills in young learners and creating dynamic, engaging learning environments that inspire future-ready thinking.  These innovative experiences will lead directly into the innovative pathway opportunities that await our students at the JSHS.
