The Bancroft Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Program 2025 is just around the corner, and the library is excited for eight weeks packed with fun, creativity, and adventure.
This year’s theme is “Level Up at Your Library!” and there is an amazing lineup of shows, games, and events planned for all ages.
Registration opens June 2 and programs begin on Mon., June 23, and end on Fri., Aug. 15.
Every week, there will be different games, movies, and outdoor activities, including:
• Mondays: Special events hosted by One Up Games, Snapology and Magic with George
• Tummy Time Tuesdays: Tummy Time for babies, featuring a new theme each week
• Wednesdays: Game Night
• Thursdays: Picnic storytime & playtime
• Friday matinees: Cool down in the Library’s air conditioning with a movie
• Builder Saturdays: Get creative with LEGOs
There are Grand Prize Raffles for all age groups (adults too!) so everyone has a chance to win.
Mark your calendars now for the Summer Reading Kick-Off event on Mon., June 23 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. when the inside of the Library will be turned into a mini-golf course with 9 holes of glowing LED mini golf.

The library would like to extend its congratulations and gratitude to the Friends of Hopedale Library for securing a grant with UniBank that will support four of its Summer Reading programs with One Up Games. They are deeply grateful to UniBank for funding this grant and for their commitment to promoting literacy and supporting the Hopedale community.
