Police share quarterly statistics including 3543 calls for service during Oct., Nov., Dec. High numbers also reported for property checks, officer investigative cases

At a recent Select Board meeting, the Hopedale Police Department shared its monthly statistics for October, November, and December. 
The highest statistic was the total number of calls for service which were 1281 in October, 1055 in November, and 1207 in December. 
The next highest line items were the total number of property checks at 870 for the quarter, and the total number of officer investigative cases at 844. 
Other quarterly statistics include: 
911 calls: 88
Arrests: 88
Alarm calls: 43
Summons served/delivered: 34
Animal complaint calls: 28
Field interviews: 10
Disturbance/fights: 9
Missing persons/runaway/juvenile: 3
Harassing phone calls: 2
Criminal damage: 1
Breaking and entering: 0

In addition, hours were broken out for the quarter for: 
Hours spent in court: 9 
Hours spent on community policing: 15
Hours assisting other agencies: 33
