Hopedale seeks new Highway Superintendent

The Town of Hopedale is accepting applications to fill the position of Highway Superintendent after Christopher Nadeau resigned from the position. 
According to the job description, “the Highway Superintendent, under the direction of the Road Commissioners, is responsible for all technical, administrative, and supervisory work in managing the positions of the Town’s Highway Department. Plans and supervises repair and maintenance ofTown roads and bridges, stormwater management system, and highway department facilities and equipment,” in addition to the duties. 
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field equivalent to a master craftsman eleve of trade knowledge; 7-10 years related work experience in the field of road maintenance and repair operations; hands-on experience in snow removal operations; minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience with provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. 
The salary range is between $95,000 and $115,000.
