At its meetings on Feb. 27 and March 13, the Hopedale Select Board made the following appointments:  

Jim Abbruzzese, Community Preservation Committee

Herbert T. Potter, Jr., Community Preservation Committee

Promotion of Call Firefighter Candidate Alec Kaminski-Miller to Call Firefighter 

Promotion of Call Firefighter Candidate Andre Aureliano to Call Firefighter

It accepted the following resignations: 

Call Firefighter Candidate Tiana Lasorsa

It accepted the following donations: 

$38,500 from The Hopedale Foundation for Rustic Bridge assessment and engineering services 

$1,600 from anonymous donor to fund legal fees associated with West Street litigation  

And it acknowledged the following: 

Hopedale Annual Town Meeting on May 16 at 7 p.m.

13th Annual Hopedale Blue Raider 5K Run/Walk on May 20 

An agreement was made with the Clerical Union for a wage increase of 2.5% in FY24 and FY25 

An agreement was made with the Highway, Water and Sewer Union for a wage increase of 3% in FY24 and FY25 

Department of Environmental Protection has approved the town’s permit for the construction of the new Freedom Street finished water storage tank (0.92-million gallons)
